Today, the water problem is considerably apparent not only in Turkey but throughout the world in social, economic and environmental areas. We acknowledge that a collective approach is required to solve the problem and that it is of great importance to develop alternative methods to the usual solutions. We meet all the legal requirements of the industry in which we operate and we develop projects that follow a proactive approach for the problem of water scarcity.

As Borçelik, we aim to reduce our water consumption by 50% by 2030. In line with this goal; we, as Borçelik, have been working on new technologies for alternative sources to water supply, we improve our treatment processes to increase the quality of the water that we discharge and we produce and implement projects that will ensure the recovery of water and the reduction of water used in our processes. We believe that we can be a part of the solution with all our efforts.
