Characterization

Our most important strength supporting our R&D activities is comprised of the material characterization skills and abilities developed since the very foundation of Borçelik. To further improve our means, skills and abilities existing in this field is one of our natural targets as an R&D Centre.

Thanks to and within the frame of cooperation protocols signed with various academic institutions and particularly Bursa Technical University (BTÜ), we are adopting the principle of not spending our sources for a new investment on a test ability already existing in BTÜ, for the sake of effective and efficient use of our national sources, and instead, we are using such sources and funds in order to build non-existing, different and new characterization skills and abilities.
